Dr. Ellison began counseling individuals in 2011. She uses an integrative mind-body approach that includes CBT, empowerment, existential theory and psychodynamics.
She earned an Advanced Training in Traumatic Stress Certificate from the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies in 2013 and her Doctorate in Professional Counseling in 2014. He research project for her doctorate examined the use of self-defense training, mindfulness, and group therapy with female survivors of sexual abuse.

Kate has been counseling individuals since 2011. She has experience working with adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, negative self esteem, among many others. Her approach to counseling is integrative and combines elements of CBT, Narrative Therapy, existential approaches, and creative techniques.
She earned an Advanced Training in Traumatic Stress Certificate from the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies in 2014 and her Doctorate in Professional Counseling in 2014.
